FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: conveyor has shaft with sprockets, worm wheel rigidly mounted on shaft, drive shaft with fitted on worm and traction member speed changer mechanically coupled with worm drive shaft. Worm is installed on drive shaft for longitudinal travel along shaft axis in splined joint. Traction member speed changer is made in form of cam with closed shaped slot, and hinge-mounted rocker with roller installed for arrangement in closed slot of cam. Rocker is connected with worm by means of bushing installed on worm for turning around axis and fixing in longitudinal direction, and connecting rods hinge-coupled with bushing and rocker.
