FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of organopolysiloxane resin. At the 1-st stage silane of the general formula R₃SiOR¹ and/or its hydrolysate and at least one silane of the general formula Si(OR²)₄ where R - monovalent organic residue, R¹,R² - alkyl residue are converted with water in the presence of acid. Formed alcohol is distilled off at least partially. At the 2-d stage obtained reaction mass is converted in the presence of a base and at least water-insoluble organic solvent taken at amount that is sufficient to obtain homogeneous mass. Water and alcohol are removed by distillation, obtained reaction mass is neutralized with acid and formed salt is removed. EFFECT: improved method of resin synthesis. 7 cl, 1 tbl
