FIELD: systems working under high pressures. SUBSTANCE: method is based on aligning friction units in lubricant; method includes elimination of edge contact between friction surfaces throughout entire range of running-in loads followed by aligning in suspension of powder of solid lubricant coat in grease, for example, in lithol at varying load reaching the grease sticking limit. Edge contact between friction surfaces is eliminated in abrasive medium both before and in course of alignment. Suspension is removed before beginning of operation; load is increased stepwise in course of alignment; limit of loading in alignment is determined by instability of friction coefficient. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 7 cl, 2 dwg
