FIELD: physics; proximate analysis of agricultural and food products. SUBSTANCE: infra-red proximate analyzer has wider spectrum operating range (& 50-2700 nm). It also has system of turning mirrors provided with electronic control unit and integrating sphere which is additionally fitted with two photoreceivers having thermoelectric coolers. Use of internal wall of sphere with golden coating as standard increases stability and accuracy of 100-per cent reflection measurement considerably. To improve accuracy and thermal stability of photometric characteristics and reproducibility of wave lengths, use is made of three types of materials with linear thermal expansion coefficient close to zero. Common base, parts of interferometer and integrating sphere bodies are made of devitrified glass, beam splitter moving and stationary mirrors of interferometer and mirrors in system of turning mirrors are manufactured of quartz.
