FIELD: screw extruder. SUBSTANCE: screw extruder has a cylinder accommodating at least one screw. The cylinder has holes for pins projecting to the zone of material conveyance. The pin axes are directed tangentially to the cylinder wall or near the tangent line and in parallel with it. In the zones of arrangement of pins the screw core has an annular convex camber, and the cylinder has a ring-shaped recess on the inner wall. The pins are positioned outside the imaginary cylinder enveloping the screw flights on their outside diameter. The pins are inclined through radial planes, in which the screw core convex camber and cylinder ring-shaped recess are positioned. The cross-section of the ring-shaped recess is indicated on the cylinder inner wall, screw core convex camber and pins. The make-up of the pins and their lay-out are also indicated. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced cost, enhanced efficiency of plasticization, improved conditions of self-cleaning, enhanced reliability of pins. 12 cl, 7 dwg
