FIELD: production of glass.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of pulverized fuel, petroleum coke for example, to glass-making furnace which has glass-making zone and large number of burners connected with pair of sealed-up chambers of regenerators located on sides which perform function of heat exchangers; burners are arranged in some channels which are connected with glass-making zone of furnace. Proposed system is provided with unit for supply of pulverized fuel to glass charge by means of one of burners. Emission of exhaust gases formed in the course of combustion of fuel in furnace is controlled for maintenance of exhaust gases clean and for reduction of such admixtures as SOx and NOx and particles. Regenerator chambers are covered with refractory materials ,such as magnesia, zircon-silica-alumina or magnesium oxide and zirconium silicate for resistance to erosion and abrasive action arising in the course of combustion of fuel in glass-making chamber.
EFFECT: low cost of process.
