METHOD OF ALLOYING FRICTION PARTS AND LUBRICATING OILS IN PROCESS OF MECHANISM OPERATION Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is modified version of tribochemical lubrication method with oil stabilization apparatus in cassette unit of which solid inhibitor reagents and halide filter-meter are packed. Alloying magnetically sensitive elements are included additionally. As a result total composition of five-metal alloy is first source of alloying elements. Second source of extraction of metals is contamination of oil in process of operation. Spectrum of alloying microelements from both sources is extracted simultaneously in cassette unit of oil stabilization apparatus by means of special attachments in combination with magnetic field cascade. Oil medium is magnetized by magnetic substances, magnetically sensitive friction parts are magnetized and alloying elements are cyclically introduced into their surface layers to complete relative saturation in built up magnetic fields under specific parameters of operating mechanism.
