FIELD: foundry, in particular, methods of production of multilayer castings of rolls. SUBSTANCE: method includes casting of outer layer and the first portion of metal of inner layer into ingot mold of centrifugal machine during rotation round horizontal axis and casting of the remaining part of metal to ingot mold in its vertical position after stopping its rotation. The first portion of metal of inner layer is treated by refining mixture of granulated magnesium in chloride shell and ferrosilicon in the amount of 0.1-0.3 of its weight, and ratio of rates of casting of outer surface and of the first portion of inner layer is 1:(0.8-1.0). Mixture of granulated magnesium in chloride shell and ferrosilicon consists of particles sizing 0.1-2.0 mm with components ratio of 1:(10-20). Chloride shell is used in the form of mixture of chlorides of alkali and alkali-earth metals with their weight amounting to (0.1-5.0)% of weight of granulated magnesium.
