FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method of processing rubber-containing waste to engine fuel and chemical raw involves heat treatment of rubber-containing waste with hydrocarbon solvent at 270-420 C followed by separation of liquid fraction, its distillation and the end product obtaining. Waste from synthetic rubber production are used as hydrocarbon solvent. Heat treatment of rubber-containing waste is carried out in the presence of rare-earth metal or intermetallic compounds based on rare-earth metals or titanium hydride taken at amount 0.5-10.0% of reaction mixture mass under pressure 1-6 MPa. Method ensures to increase conversion degree of rubber-containing waste, yield of liquid products involving fraction at boiling point 200 C, not above, obtain highly aromatized liquid products at low content of sulfurorganic and unsaturated compounds.
