FIELD: producing mechanical and electrical energy by direct conversion of working medium energy. SUBSTANCE: member acted upon by working medium is made in the of torus offering minimal resistance to rotating working medium which is dumped to energy-conservation toroidal chamber over spiral-shaped channels through controlled valves. Motor has magnetic field windings and electrodes for power supply and take-off. voltage is applied to electrodes coming in contact with working medium which converters electric circuit into plasma providing for acceleration of working medium inside torus during starting period. As soon as it gains steady-state conditions, electric circuit is changed over to MHD generator to supply electrical energy to load.
