FIELD: refrigerating engineering; domestic and transport refrigerators. SUBSTANCE: refrigerator includes heat-insulated housing, inner heat-conducting freezing and cooling chambers, thermoelectric unit whose cold end is thermally connected with freezing chamber and hot end is connected with external air or liquid radiator. Thermoelectric unit of refrigerator is made from system of similar thermal modules forming two stages (levels) for discharge of heat at inter-stage equithermal characteristic; they are interconnected by means of heat-conducting adapter. EFFECT: reduced temperatures in freezing and cooling chambers as compared with Freon compression refrigerators at similar power requirements and identical volumes. 7 cl, 3 dwg
