FIELD: pyrotechnic systems for various use, artillery weapon inclusive. SUBSTANCE: conditions are created for automation of the process of grain powder charge weighing in pyrotechnic systems, whose barrel at functioning is in an inclined position within 0 to 50 deg. relative to the horizon, whose charge has a considerable mass, and where a high loading density is required. The barrel uses tube 1, breech ring 2 with chamber 3, charge feeder 4 and breechblock 5. Chamber 3 located in breech ring 2 is made as a shortened cylinder with chamfers on both ends from the chamber diameter to the bore diameter. The chamber length is approximately twice less than its diameter, and the diameter is approximately twice larger than the tube bore diameter. The assembly of charge feeder 4 is positioned on top of breech ring 2 in the front part of chamber 3 and inclined relative to its longitudinal axis towards tube 1. EFFECT: automated process of charge weighing. 1 dwg
