FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for ignition of bulk powder charges in pyrotechnic installations of artillery type. The device contains a through vertical channel 2; two coaxial and oppositely directed jacks 3 for accommodation of electrode units; two single-type electrically conductive hinges 4 with a buttress thread 5, two electrodes 6, two dielectric loose leaves 7, 8 made of resilient strong material, two air-proof heat-resistant bushes 9, two pressure nuts 10 with washers 11 and two caps 12 placed in inflow 1 of pyrotechnic system chamber 13. The device is supplied with a current source. At input of the charge in chamber 13 by filling grained gunpowder from top to down, gunpowder naturally gets into cavity of channel 2 above the cap 12 and covers electrodes 6. Gunpowder is ignited due to the temperature of an electric arch formed between end faces of the electrodes 6. To change the gap or contact effort between the electrodes 6 the electrically conductive hinge 4 or press nut 10 must be turned.
EFFECT: simplified design, manufacturability and assemblability.
