FIELD: automatic control equipment. SUBSTANCE: method for involves measuring heat characteristics which are adequate for object, and synthesis of control commands using these characteristics. Object is described by temperature modes which are generated as finite set of orthogonal linear combinations of temperature readings of temperature detectors which weights are calculated experimentally by means of processing data of system dynamics in conditions which reconstruct service conditions. Constituents of control vector are calculated as linear combinations of power of heaters. Exciting orthogonal temperature modes, normalized weights in linear combinations are also detected in preliminary experiment by means of processing system response data in response to stepwise operations of separate heaters. EFFECT: increased precision of regulation of temperature field of distributed object by 20-50%. 2 cl, 4 dwg
