FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method is suggested to treat acute pancreatitis, to cool the tissue of the given organ it is necessary to use chloroethane by interrupted irrigation of 20-30 ml of its lateral and anterior glandular surfaces for 10-12 minutes. At free evaporation of chloroethane an organ's surface is cooled to 0-4 C. Free irrigation by chloroethane causes depression and destruction of exocrine apparatus along keeping the functions of pancreatic insular tissue. EFFECT: higher efficiency to treat acute pancreatitis.
