ELECTROLYTE FOR DEPOSITING IRON COATINGS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2110622 C1

FIELD: metal coatings. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to applying electrochemical, especially iron coatings and can find use when restoring worked out machine parts. Iron plating electrolyte contains (in g/l): ferrous chloride tetrahydrate, 300-400; semicarbazide hydrochloride, 15-20; sodium sulfate decahydrate, 12-16; and hydrochloric acid to pH 0.5-1.0. Plating process is carried out at 40-60 C and operational current density 40 to 80 A/sq.dm. EFFECT: increased electrolyte stability in work and storage. 2 tbl
