FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for treating bottom-hole zone of productive oil bed by pressure of combustion products. According to method, lowered into well are blocks of solid fuel together with igniting block which is adjacent to them. Aforesaid blocks are burnt in vicinity of productive bed. Used in function of igniting block is gas generator. Lowering of solid fuel blocks is effected in free-falling mode through liquid contained in well. Installed ahead of gas generator in direction of movement is floating member. Difference between weight of gas generator immersed in well liquid and lifting force of floating member is selected as being less than weight of solid fuel blocks immersed in well liquid. To increase output of well, gas generator contains elongated unit of standard solid fuel having longitudinal passage. One end of longitudinal passage is blanked by plug made of standard solid fuel. Inserted into inlet part of other end of longitudinal passage is resilient piston. Resilient piston is fastened over its outer perimeter with sealing stopper with possibility of its shearing under external pressure. This pressure corresponds to hydrostatic pressure in well at preset depth of operation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 22 cl, 7 dwg
