FIELD: instruments. SUBSTANCE: device has inertial member which is designed as metal ball and is mounted in housing in space between its bottom and cap. Bottom and cap of housing are designed as two parallel round plates. One plate is made from dielectric material. Its inner surface is covered with computer-conducting strips, each of which has terminal for connection to recorder. Dielectric plate has ring projections between which current-conducting strips are located. Strips are shaped as coaxial split rings. Another plate is made from conducting material and has terminal for connection to recorder. Ball contacts both plates. Shape of ring projections of dielectric plates provides slope which is directed to plate center. Inner surface of current-conducting plate has radial bulges which do not reach plate center. This results in possibility to measure maximal acceleration in several ranges according to value and direction of acceleration in plate plane. EFFECT: possibility to measure maximal acceleration and record this information, remote control of readings. 3 cl, 4 dwg
