FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shock acceleration transducers are mounted on wheel boxes as marker of time at which transport facility passes through end of base distance of know length equal to space between transport facility wheels. Outputs of transducers are connected to inputs of time interval meter. The latter measures time between electric pulses developed across acceleration transducers in case of sequential passage over one and the same rail joint by two adjacent wheels of transport facility.
