SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of recording mileage and monitoring condition of rolling stock elements. Device comprises magnetoelectric generator installed in housing with detachable cover, mechanically connected to wheel pair axis, control unit, data storage unit, a data transmission unit and a location determining unit connected to the data processing unit, series-connected pulse former and pulse counter, wherein output of magnetoelectric generator by AC voltage signal is connected to input of power supply unit, made with possibility of rectification and stabilization of output alternating voltage of magnetoelectric generator, and to input of pulse shaper, output of which is connected to input of pulse counter, output of which is connected to one of inputs of data processing unit, other input of data processing unit is connected to output of location determining unit, and the output of the data processing unit is connected to one of the inputs of the data storage unit, the other input of which is connected to the output of the control unit, and the output is connected to the data transmission unit, which is connected to the control unit by the input/output.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of track control of rail vehicle.
