FIELD: radio direction finding with measurement of phase shift of signals picked off of antennas spaced apart. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in system finding direction to high-speed low flying targets, specifically, in system of active protection of tank against antitank projectiles. Proposed radio direction finder has transmitter generator, two frequency converters, generator of pseudorandom pulse sequence, even number of transmitting antennas and sublattices of linear groups of receiving antenna elements, unit of phase meters, phase manipulators of receiver and transmitter, two passive power dividers which signals from second outputs go through power adder and unit of controlled attenuation to unit of input of calibration signals manufactured in the form of horn antenna oriented towards receiving antenna elements. Controlling unit of controlled attenuation is connected to output of Doppler frequency generator controlled by signal processor. First inputs of passive power dividers are connected with the aid of proper transmitting antennas. EFFECT: improved operational reliability and accuracy. 1 cl, 2 dwg
