FIELD: cutting tools. SUBSTANCE: supporting insert is shaped as parallelepiped made of hard alloy. It has two wing-shaped projections on its longitudinal sides. Drilling head of drill includes two seats with two recesses on long sides. It allows installation of supporting inserts in definite position along axis and to enhance its strength in weakened area formed by presence of central hole.
