FIELD: applied physics and chemistry, more particularly manufacture of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, pouring mixes for installing machines and setups and also manufacturing products from gypsum. SUBSTANCE: method comprises promoting the formation of crystals in hardening mineral binding material by using electromagnetic radiation. In order to allow for controllability of hardening process, hardening mineral binding material is subjected to electromagnetic irradiation at frequencies from 0.5 to 15 MHz at heat-moisture treatment and natural hardening stages. Duration of hardening is regulated by varying frequencies of electromagnetic radiation. In order to carry out method, electromagnetic radiation source is used with power ranging from 0.3 to 20 W cubic m of mineral binding material.
