FIELD: petroleum chemistry and refining; hydrodesulphurization of hydrocarbon fractions. SUBSTANCE: liquid hydrocarbons are purified in presence of hydrogen, on aluminium/platinum catalyst preactivated with hydrogen at 30-800 C and under elevated pressure. EFFECT: higher degree of purification from sulfides.
