FIELD: woodworking industry, in particular, manufacture of building materials for floor covering and making of floor covering. SUBSTANCE: floor covering is made by edgewise placement of plywood strip in rows directly on framework logs and fastening of rows to one another by glue and nails with a subsequent upsetting of strip rows by wooden wedges driven in between the wall and covering edges around the edges. EFFECT: enhanced strength, shape stability and wear resistance of covering, simplified process of its production, saving of merchantable wood.
