FIELD: locking devices used for protection of boxcar door locking bars, locking assemblies of containers, tank hatch doors, handwheels of grain hopper cars against penetration of strangers or malefactors to conveyed freights. SUBSTANCE: seal body has a recess with through holes on its bottom. One end of the wire rope is rigidly fastened in the body, and the wire rope proper is arranged in the body through holes for formation of two loops, the first of which is formed by the wire rope section between its termination in the body and second through hole and envelops the eyes of the door locking assembly, and the other loop is located in the body recess and formed by the wire rope section between two through holes. The body recess between the two through holes has a stepped hole, which accommodates the wire rope stepped hole, which accommodates the wire rope tail end. The wire rope is rigidly fixed in the tail end, for instance, by its squeezing, and the tail end proper is press-fitted in the stepped hole. The tail end has a head located inside the body recess between the through holes and closed from the top by the second wire rope loop. An inclined hole is made at an angle to the first through hole, crossing it and forming a curvilinear slot in the point of intersection expanding towards the recess bottom. This inclined hole accommodates the locking member in the form of a spring-loaded ball engageable with the wire rope section positioned in the first through hole. A seal variant is probable with a similar locking member in the second through hole. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 4 dwg
