SEALING LOCK Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: locking devices used for protecting doors of containers, closed railway freight cars and vans from unauthorized access to contents of containers etc. SUBSTANCE: sealing lock has body with dead slot. Annular bore made at side adjacent to dead slot window has diameter equal to that of outer annular bead. Flexible sleeve is rolled in dead slot for axial movement within it. Axial opening of sleeve is conjugated with inner annular bead, such as conical junction. Annular bead engageable with closed groove of rod is provided with sharp blunted edge. Rod tip flange has edge of similar shape. Tip is made conical. Body and rod of sealing lock are positioned within housing and cap of respective shape. EFFECT: simplified sealing process, provision for adequate positioning of rod in sleeve and wider operational capabilities. 3 cl, 2 dwg
