FIELD: special-purpose locks, in particular, locks for attachment of detachable radioelectronic telemetering instrument on railway car automatic coupling. SUBSTANCE: device uses mechanisms of preliminary and final grip of vertical rib 3 of automatic coupling 2 of railway car. The preliminary grip mechanism has a pair of parallel-fastened L-brackets located along longitudinal walls 6 of box-type body 4 with formation of a mouth relative to the end faces, as well as a pair of latches 7 rigidly secured on the ends of axle 8 spring-loaded in the axis of rotation in longitudinal walls 6 of body 4 on the side of the ends of the L-brackets. Latches 7 have a shape and dimensions for support on the bottom of box-type body 4 and closing of the mouth between the L-brackets and end faces of the longitudinal walls of body 4. The final grip mechanism has the main gripping member in the form of two grips 14 spaced for separate turn on axle 15, cylindrical nut 18, whose longitudinal axis is perpendicular to the axis of lead screw 19. Rocker 17 with a hole for free motion of lead screw 19 is symmetrically fitted on the cylindrical nut for turning. Tie-rods 16 joined to the main gripping member are hinge-joined to the rocker ends. Owing to the use of a pair of latches rigidly secured on the ends of the axle spring-loaded in the axis of rotation in the preliminary grip mechanism, the given structure enhances reliability of preliminary attachment of the instrument on the automatic coupling, and employment in the final grip mechanism of an additional pair of C-shaped grips installed opposite the main gripping member creates a force pressing the device body to the railway car automatic coupling.
