FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine includes table mounted in guide beds for horizontal motion relative to spindle head, work plate mounted rotatably on working table containing the member for positioning the work; positioning member is made in the form of railway switch. Machine is also provided with mechanism for turn of work plate made in the form of two motion screws; nut with axle is placed on one motion screw and guide is placed on other screw. Positioning member proposed by invention is of definite design which is necessary for machining not only horizontal surfaces but lateral surfaces of rail heads of railway frogs.
