SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of gyroscope quality factor by rotor deflection using harmonic law at low frequency and with closed feedback; variations in moments for either sensitivity axis are determined by changes in amplitude of low-frequency oscillations of feedback currents; quality factor is found from equation $$$, where $$$ is amount of maladjustment; $$$ is, respectively, resonant and nonresonant rotor speed; $$$ is current steepness of feedback channels $$$; $$$ is peak-to-peak amplitude of currents in feedback circuits X and Y in case of rotor deflection obeying harmonic law at low frequency relative to X axis.
