FIELD: power mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in process of development of aeroelastic vibrations values of two components of flow pulsation spectrum located symmetrically about blade succession frequency are compared. Direction of deformation wave running over wheel is judged by results of comparison. In addition, difference of values of the above-mentioned spectrum components is recorded, and conclusion is made about variation of vibration amplitude of wheel blades.
