FIELD: determination of integral efficiency of construction sound insulation. SUBSTANCE: effectiveness of plate sound insulation is estimated by integral coefficient of sound passage. To determine sound passage coefficient, linear dimensions, inherent oscillation frequencies and boundary frequency of plate are determined. Parameters, as well as plate thickness and rigidity, density and coefficient of mechanical losses of plate material, air density, and sound velocity in air are used for calculation of integral coefficient of sound passage at preset distance from plane and in definite noise effect frequency band. Three different formulas are proposed for calculation of above-indicated coefficient for different frequency bands located below and above plate boundary frequency and including the boundary frequency. EFFECT: exclusion of impermissible discrepancies between values of sound passage coefficient determined experimentally and analytically. 1 dwg
