FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing "curtain" of two rows of large-sized spruce seedlings along perimeter of land planted with mixed oak cultures, with spruce seedlings being offset one with respect to another for value equal to half the spruce spacing; providing forestry care by cutting branches of spruce seedlings of inner row disposed within "curtain", which are projecting toward oak seedling rows, along curved line of imaginary side surface of spruce crown, with contact between oak crowns and spruce crowns being prevented till complete hardening of oak tree bark (25-30 years); chipping spruces standing in rows; chipping spruces within "curtain", when they are at the stage of qualitative maturity. EFFECT: increased efficiency by improved keeping of oak elements, such as bark, crown tops.
