FIELD: forestry, in particular, forest reproduction.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out forest reproduction cycle practices on forestry plots, said practices including steps ranging between forest reproduction and forest generation alteration steps; according to natural features of forestry plots, their target designation and state, using mutually changeable and mutually completing system of practices for reproduction of main and derivative kinds of forest, with the latter being similar to main kind but differing in formation of derivative crops after alteration of generations. With existing basic crop, at the stage of forest reproduction, between stage at which crop reaches average age and stage of alteration of generation, clearing cuttings are performed for forest retention through periodic clearing cutting of trees which turn to belong to the category of heavily weakened and suppressed trees and with improving growth conditions for high-quality trees, including young growth. Thus, conditions are provided for reproduction of forest forming plants of next forest generation.
EFFECT: provision for mutual correlation of all forest reproduction practices united into systems conforming to target designation and natural features of forests.
