FIELD: textile goods generating heat when electric current is passed through them. SUBSTANCE: proposed textile heater is produced, for example, by connecting ground and pipe yarns to obtain preformed textile structure; in the process pile yarn overlaps ground yarn on machine face side and forms pile loops on machine back side of preformed textile structure. Resistive electric heating element, such as that in the form of current- conducting thread, is introduced in preformed textile structure in the form of ground yarns symmetrically and/or asymmetrically spaced apart. Resistive electric heating elements are passed between opposing extreme sections of fabric and current-conducting members, such as those disposed along extreme sections, connect resistive electric heating elements to power supply. Machine face side and/or machine back side of textile structure can be teased during finishing to avoid poor electric conductance of resistive electric heating elements. Current-conducting thread should better built of insulating core, resistive electric heating element around core, and sheathing material around resistive electric heating element and core. EFFECT: enhanced quantity of resistive elements introduced in the form of current-conducting threads. 24 cl, 30 dwg
