FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding and surfacing. SUBSTANCE: set has welding head mounted on rotary pad made of dielectric material, and guide post installed on base. Welding head vertical displacement mechanism is installed on post and slider connected by bracket with dielectric material pad and mechanically coupled with vertical displacement mechanism. Welding head rotation mechanism is installed on pad. Design of set provides for change of surfacing conditions when restoring surfaces of different diameters and visual checking and cleaning of applied layer from slag crust.
