FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: surfacing is performed submerged by consumable electrode of austenitic class with simultaneous supplying of additional filler wire of austenitic class, which is heated by passing a heating current through it, to tail part of surfacing bath. Transverse vibrations with frequency of (2-7) Hz and amplitude of (0.5-0.8) of surfacing bath width are given to additional filler wire. Heating current amount of additional filler wire and speed of its supply is selected for obtaining the cooling temperature of weld bath at temperature range of the lowest austenite stability, ensuring the formation of surfacing microstructure not liable to cold cracking. Quality formation of surfacing layer is provided by synchronization of melting rate of filler wire and its feed rate to surface buildup area.
EFFECT: method provides a product with guaranteed supply of technological strength and necessary performance properties without special heat treatment.
