LOOSE MATERIAL LOADING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: materials handling facilities; filling loose materials in different containers. SUBSTANCE: device has intake hopper and loose material distributor, connected in tandem. Loose material distributor has hollow housing open in its lower portion and deflecting plate installed with clearance below hollow housing and having cross section exceeding cross section of hollow housing, branch pipe installed in hollow housing and mated with gas source to provide gas flow in above indicated clearance changing direction of part of loose material into many directions over deflecting plate. Hollow housing has funnel-shaped diaphragm with central hole directing loose material flow to its central part. Branch pipe has reciprocating piston regulating intensity of compressed gas flow in clearance which, its turn, contributes to uniform distribution of hard particles of loose material in radial directions over section of container to be filled. EFFECT: provision of uniform distribution of hard particles over cross section of filled container and forming homogeneous structure layer. 5 cl, 4 dwg
