FIELD: research laboratory equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention focuses on apparatuses for saturating gas streams with vapor of thermostatically controlled one-component liquid at a certain temperature producing vapor-gas mixture with equilibrium concentration of vapor corresponding to partial pressure of vapor at temperature controlled and providing possibility of changing input of gas and vapor-gas mixture within a large range, while composition of mixture remains constant. Saturator of invention contains cylindrical container with liquid; thermostat for this liquid, gas-intake pipe with opened lower end immersed into liquid; and liquid intake nipple fully immersed into liquid. Lower end of coil is connected to gas- intake pipe, whereas its upper opened end is exposed into liquid layer. Lower part of gas-intake pipe below the point connected to coil is provided with space opened into liquid layer from below. Saturator also has a system for automatically maintaining level of liquid in cylindrical container. EFFECT: improved structure. 5 cl, 4 dwg
