FIELD: chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and other industries; equipment for catalytic cleaning of industrial gas discharges using ozones. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises catalytic reactor which houses several catalyst beds separated by free spaces, distributors with outlet pipes for supply of ozone-air mixture arranged in free spaces between catalyst beds, regenerative heat exchangers arranged the following direction of gas flow upstream and downstream of catalyst beds, and reversing device adapted to reverse direction where gas to be cleaned is supplied, to opposite one. To be able to handle cases of abrupt and frequent variations in organic matter concentrations, gas-cleaning apparatus comprises interconnected in series adsorber, ozonator and gas composition analyzer, the latter is interposed on pipeline between adsorber and catalytic reactor and connected via control unit with actuating mechanism adapted to adjust voltage variations of ozonator.
