FIELD: production of trisodium pyrophosphate as its nona-hydrous salt, food industry. SUBSTANCE: disodium pyrophosphate and tetrasodium pyrophosphate are mixed and then are dissolved in water at 30-50 C. Thus prepared solution is filtered to separate insoluble precipitate. Crystallization takes place by cooling solution, temperature drop being 3-5 C/min. The process is carried out till crystals sized not less than 50 mcm are obtained, then finished product is separated. EFFECT: commercial product of high grade quality is prepared.
