FIELD: oil processing, petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: heavy oil residues (asphaltite) are mixed preliminary with hydrogenisate fraction (boiling point is above 520 C) at temperature eliminating catalyst solution boiling up. Catalyst consists of an aqueous-oily-soluble molybdenum, nickel, cobalt and tungsten salts. Mixing is carried out up to viscosity value providing carrying out the dispersing step and formation of stable emulsion (drop diameter is 0.5-5.0 mcm). Method ensures to exclude accumulation of solid particle in system containing in the parent raw and forming in the process of processing. For this purpose 10-25 wt.-% residue is removed from processing system and combusted evolving hydrogenating metal oxides. EFFECT: improved method of processing. 5 cl, 3 tbl, 1 dwg
