FIELD: power engineering, chemical, oil, food and milk industries. SUBSTANCE: tube-type slotted heat exchanger has system of parallel heat exchange members and dispensing and collecting headers and sealing arrangements with braces. Heat exchanger has hermetically sealed housing with removable covers made in form of rectangular parallelepiped with inlet and outlet branch pipes. Covers close ports of one of pairs of adjacent faces. Inlet and outlet branch pipes are arranged on other pair of opposite faces. Heat exchange members are cantilever mounted on inner surfaces of covers. Dispensing and collecting headers are mounted on outer surfaces. Heat exchange member are made in form of several U-shaped and M-shaped tubes installed with clearance relative to each other in one plane. One end of each tube communicates with dispensing header and the other end, with collecting header. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 8 cl, 7 dwg
