FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in recuperative heat exchangers in chemical, food industry, power engineering and other industries for heating and cooling fluids. In a multi-pass loop heat exchanger, comprising a heat exchange matrix made of a sheet with bends in the form of loops, which form alternating channels for a first and a second heat carrier, a cover, arranged between covers and heat exchange matrix sealing gaskets, inlet and outlet branch pipes for first and second heat carriers, ends of the sheet from which the heat exchange matrix is made are bent to form two chambers, each of which is adjacent to one of the opposite sides of the heat exchange matrix, sheet edges are tightly connected to the extreme loops of the heat exchange matrix, longitudinal partitions are installed in the channels and chambers, providing multi-pass movement of the first and second heat carriers and dividing the chambers into compartments, inlet and outlet branch pipes for first heat carrier are arranged on one chamber, and inlet and outlet branch pipes for the second heat carrier are arranged on the other chamber, the covers are connected to each other by threaded ties. Besides, longitudinal partitions are installed using position retainers. There are discrete roughness elements on flat parts of the heat exchange matrix loop surfaces.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the device while providing multi-pass movement of heat carriers.
