FIELD: small arms ammunition intended for shooting light armored targets. SUBSTANCE: the bullet has a stepped envelope consisting of head, leading, intermediate and tail parts, as well as a jacket and a slug, having head, tail and intermediate parts between them. According to the first variant, the envelope intermediate part has a tapered surface, and the slug intermediate part is a truncated cone. According to the second variant, the envelope intermediate part has a tapered external surface, and the slug intermediate part is made in the form of conjugated cylindrical, adjoining the head part, and tapered sections.
