FIELD: focusing and shaping quasi-parallel beam from diverging one, turning quasi-parallel beam, etc. SUBSTANCE: device has many channel-forming members 10 (single-capillary or polycapillary tubes), supported by spacing members of several supporting structures installed through its length. Each supporting structure has set of parallel spacing members 5 positioned along normal to optical axis of device. Spacing members are made in the form of wire length or metal strips; members of closest supporting structures are relatively perpendicular. Manufacturing process for both options involves relative positioning of prepared channel-forming and spacing members, formation of supporting structures from the latter, locking of channel-forming members and set of spacing members forming supporting structures to shape optical system as required. When shaping supporting structures, spacing members are positioned in parallel to each other and perpendicular to optical axis. Spacing members of closest supporting structures are positioned relatively perpendicularly. In first option, channel-shaping members are pushed in turn through clearances between spacing members of each supporting structure. In second option, on the contrary, supporting members are pushed between channel-forming members placed in advance along optical system of device being manufactured. EFFECT: improved precision of arrangement of channel-forming members, facilitated manufacture, reduced radiation energy loss, improved focusing or parallelism of converted beam. 39 cl, 10 dwg
