FIELD: municipal vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is designed for building power unit with increased engine power takeoff, improved layout of components and provision of power takeoff to working members located in front part of machine. Power takeoff reduction gear is arranged between clutch and gearbox. Axis of reduction gear driving shaft coincides with common axis of engine, clutch and gearbox shafts. Outer end of reduction gear driving shaft has toothed rim for engagement with gearwheel of gearbox countershaft and teeth for engagement with gearbox direct drive sleeve. Other outer end of reduction gear driving shaft has splines for engagement with driven part of clutch and trunnion for engagement with bearing support on engine shaft. Reduction gear has additional driven shaft to take off power to pump of auxiliary hydraulic system. Driven shaft to take off power to working members has second outer end for engagement with working members located in front part of machine.
