FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power takeoff mechanism providing operation of tractor with agricultural machines and implements using power unit of tractor. Proposed power takeoff mechanism has coaxial reduction gear with three paired planet pinions, mechanism engagement/disengagement device consisting of hydraulic operated friction clutch whose driving disk are installed on input shaft and driven disks on countershaft, and two pistons, driving and brake ones, interacting, respectively, with pressure and brake disks. Power takeoff mechanism is installed in separate housing, and pistons are rigidly interconnected for moving in slots of housing. Moreover, pistons are provided with sealing rings.
EFFECT: provision of power takeoff mechanism capable of operating as self-contained mechanism and providing smooth engagement and disengagement of implements, elimination of leakage and losses of working liquids.
