FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices measuring temperature, namely, temperature of surface, it can be used as temperature-sensitive element measuring heating of surface of internal combustion engine. Temperature-sensitive element has base, heat-sensitive unit, contact metal plate with anchoring hole and one electric lead as minimum. Base is fabricated in the form of plate of electric insulation material. Both sides of plate are covered with current conductive foil. One side of base has recess where heat-sensitive unit is placed. First lead-out of heat-sensitive unit is electrically connected to first side of base and contact plate and second lead-out is electrically connected to second side of base through hole in it. Base is joined with first side to contact plate so that recess is completely closed. External lead-out is electrically connected to second side of base. Manufacture of base in the form of plate from electric insulation material with sides covered with foil simplified design of temperature-sensitive element and process of its making. EFFECT: simplified design of temperature-sensitive element and process of its manufacture. 5 cl, 2 dwg
