FIELD: determination of resolving power of aircraft on-board equipment. SUBSTANCE: infra-red test object includes strips of background surface and strips containing infra-red radiation reflectors with background surface between them. Radiation temperature of strips of background surface and strips with reflectors is measured. Then difference between temperature of background surface and preset differential temperature of alternating strips is calculated, after which relationship of areas of reflecting surfaces of reflectors at different spectral reflection factors is changed till measured radiation temperature of surface of strip provided with reflectors is equal to magnitude of designed temperature difference of background surface and preset differential temperature of alternating strips. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of maintenance of differential temperature of alternating strips. 1 dwg
